1-29-56 Girl born in Camden, AR at Ouachita County Hospital
In search of birth parents or family, I've been waiting for 4 months for paperwork back from State.
I have very little information to go on, no names or anything. Just that I was born in the Ouachita County Hospital on 1-29-56 and went home with my adopted parents at 7 days old. I have posted my story on the website entitled "Just one of many Adoptees" if you would care to read it. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!! ![]() |

What now?
So what do we do now? I'm 1500 miles away, can't go running down there to harass the information out of them!! Looks like its time to start sending letters to the Governor or something!!!
Does the State of Arkansas only respond to one a month or something?? GRRR!!!!! |

Still Waiting
Here I am again, still waiting. I feel all alone, like I've been put on a shelf.

Small Discovery
Well I'm still frustrated!
but I did find a few things out!! I did receive a letter from the state with my non-identifying information and found out a little info! but the actual discovery that I made was from my Amom! She gave me the name of my Bmom! She didn't know the name of my Bdad but at least this is a start. Now the search is on! We'll see where this goes. Any advice that anyone can give me would be greatly appreciated! ![]() |

There is always hope!!
I don't understand why it takes them so long
I don't know about you but all I got was one sheet of paper, letterstyle with very little information. On a high note though, I contacted a cousin of my A-fathers, and she actually knew my birth father and I sent him an email today. I was to nervous to actually call him just yet, it's all so fresh. I'll pray for you, I wish you all the luck in the world. I didn't get any information that helped me from the Arkansas Adoption folks but turned to members of my A-family to get where I am now.![]() |
