questions about private adoption
Does anyone have answers for my situation? A close friend of the family had asked us to adopt her unborn child, we are in Arizona and she is in Texas. We have adopted from Guatemala before, but our homestudy is expired. Can anyone help me with the laws of Texas and Arizona? I mean do we have to have this whole adoption plan done by the time the baby is born, October 23. Is there a way for us to take guardianship from the hospital, raise the baby while we are sorting all the legals things out? Please help, we have a little over 8 weeks to decide if we are going to do this.
