I am searching for my birth sibling and have been for many years with no luck, even no luck on getting ANYONE to help me with non id info so here is all I have. I hope SOMEONE may be a match...PLEASE even possible ones let me know!! I do not know the sex of the child or the actual city of birth.
This is all I know as of my own digging, and mind you
I started out with only knowing I had a sibling out
there. That was it! So I think I did ok, so far, now I
am STUCK!!!

My mother ,she was 17 and a junior in high school (Mesa High School )when she was
sent to Florence Critteon (spelling?)House in Phx. She was admitted on 08/09/65 and
left for unknown reasons, it says she left willingly,
at 36 weeks ,approx 8 months along. Her expected
due date was 11/02/65 but may have been sooner. My
brother and I were early by an average of 2 months. So
that is a possibility. A family was waiting to adopt
ASAP they said. Maricopa County Child Welfare handled
the adoption arrangements but it may have been
changed to Family Services of Arizona at the last minute.
Thay lady I spoke to said proably not though. She ( my
mother )was born in hillsdale Mi = on 04/02/48 in Hillsdale MI. Her name was Luana Dean Boatman. I am Rebecca A Misenhelter (Huddleston) and am her youngest daughter. She has A Daughter Wendy, 35 a son Sean 32 and Myself 30. Sean and I were borne her, Wendy in TX and she has a different dad.

I too am searching for someone. My husband is looking for his birth mom. He was born in Phx. and we are moving forward towards finding her last name so that we can locate her. We have gone a long way and I know how detailed you have to get so I admire how much you've found out on your own. I may have a suggestion on your search. It may take a lot of looking but have you tried looking for the adoption notice? I don't always get to this board so you can email me back and I'll reply faster that way. --wildgodzillas@aol.com

So have you made it to the library yet?? I have and got some unexpected news. I also heard that the public library doesn't carry the reels for AZ business Gazette . by the way, I don't know if I told you but before 1981 the paper was called the AZ weekly. If you find out which library they're located in phx, you can go check the notices. remember, email me and let me know what you find out. If you go to the library, would you email me before you go so if I need you to check something maybe you would have time to check for me.
