For Those that Have Questions About RAD. We have Therpist Who Specializes in RAD

Dear Kar3n:

Thank you very much for your question. I am glad that you are here. We have a therapist/specialist right here on AdoptionForums.com that has years of experience with RAD children. Please ask him any specific questions about your child. Our Therpist/Specialist is named Dr. Art. He is very talented at explaining how a child with RAD preceives the world around him. This is important in parenting a RAD child. The way that a child with RAD preceives things affects his/her behavior (of course, similar to those that do not have RAD.)

Dr. Art is very good at explaining why various techniques are effective in parenting a child with RAD. You will find Dr. Art's forum at:
http://www.adoptionforums.com/forumd...?s=&forumid=50

If you type the word "reactive" into our search engine which is the third tab at the very top of each web page you will be able to locate the other posts regarding RAD.

Thank you so much for posting on AdoptionForums.com. Please know that you are not alone with what you are expereincing with your child. There are others here that have been through something similar. They can give you answers and support. Please feel free to post on an forum to prompt replies.

Best to you and your family,
