there is a pm filed but i am unable to open it to read

You can click on the Options tab at the top of the page and then See your message I think (I usually use the popup message when I have a new PM tho).

Are you saying that it says you have a new PM, but when you go there to read it, nothing is there?

If so, log out and log back in to reset your cookie, and that should fix it!

Your inbox is probably full. While looking at your PM list, there is a drop-down box that says "jump to" and it is probably on inbox. Click over to "sent" and there you'll find the messages you need to delete to clear up the space you need.

To avoid this in the future, periodically clean out the sent box or make sure that before you send a message "save a copy" is not checked.

when i go to forums, it says no messages but 1 message in all folders. and i don't know what that means. i figured out how to read the private messages.thanks for the help friends.all of you also on the long road to searching for loved ones and answers,
