I am helping an adoptee search for his birthfamily
He was born August 26 1973 at the Calgary Foothills Hospital in Alberta, He believes his birthmother and father came from Ontario.

Has your friend applied for his "non-identifying information" from the Alberta Post Adoption Registry offices?
It is very important to apply with their offices, as it registers the adoptee with them in case the birthfamily is registered too and it also gives some information about his birthfamily.

Is the name you posted his birth name or his adopted name?

Sorry about that, this was kind of a after thought, the posting I mean, I didnt really think it would genrate a response as most of the people searching are not from Canada, he does have his non id, yes that is his birthname. He believes both his mother and father came from Ontario, he believes his birthfather is dead. Are you from Alberta
