I'm trying to help a friend find any member of her birth family. As far as she knows, she was born LUCILLE DOROTHY JANAK in Calgary, Alberta April 1, 1954. Her adoption was finalized in Burnaby, BC. Adoptive parents were MacFarlane. They changed her name in 1966 to DOROTHY LUCILLE MacFARLANE. It wasn't a happy adoption. She had a younger sister, SHANNON, who died as a teenager.

Now she goes by D. D's ancestry is Japanese and Slavic. She is dark skinned, short, and looks Japanese.

D is a devoted and loyal friend, and a fine person. She is extremely creative. She started this by asking for my help, and now she's pretending it doesn't matter, but I know it does. If anyone can help us, D and I would greatly appreciate it.
