I am looking for information on my birth family. I was born 7 5 70 in Fairbanks Alaska, at Fairbanks Community Hospital. Birth family may have had name of Gardner. I would appreciate any information if you have it...

You can call the department of Vital Statistics and request your original birth certificate. It would be wise if maybe you got the address to the hospital you were born in send a request stating you were born on your birthday as baby gardner and can you get any and all info they have on you. I live in Ketchikan and our hospital archives does do this for people who put it in writing requesting it so there is a good shot you can to. Just make sure you put attn: archives department on it, its worth the shot. The vital statistics office should have all the up to date info of name changes and addresses and such from what I understand. I know a few people have good luck with their search going that way. The state vital statisics info canbe achived online. You should also be able to get the hospital address online as well. Good luck on your search.
