The story as I know it...

I was born in the Salvation Army Hospital/Home for Unwed Mothers in Birmingham, AL in April of 1965. The name given to me by my birth mom was Karen Crider.

According to the birth certificate my birth mom's maiden name was Cheryl Crider. She was born in Mississippi in August of 1946 and may have been living in Florida during the pregnancy.

She had two brothers, one of whom was married and in the military. Her father/mother were alive at the time of my birth and the father supposedly owned his own construction company, but I'm not sure where.

According to the information I was given, my birth mom was supposed to marry my father but for some reason this did not happen. He was attending community college (not sure of location) and may have been studying to become a radiology technician.

My mother's side of the family is German/Scotch-Irish and my father's side is of Italian descent.

I have been searching for you for the past 24 years and wondering about you all of my life.
