Hello everyone,

I wanted to know what was a reasonable adoption cost of AA or BI-Racial babies. From time to time I have a few people who contact me about babies because they know that I am AA and have adopted before and want to adopt again. Right now I do not have an updated homestudy so I can not go after the situations myself, so I figured I would share them with everyone here. But I do not want to post anything no one is interested in, so what does everyone think is a reasonable cost of adoption. I personally think it should be free, but that is a big fat dream.
This way if I get something that no one would be interested in, I will not post the situation. For example, an AA baby going for 23K, I would never post and most likely insult the person who called me about it, but a baby that is 4-8K I would post. Is that okay, or would everyone perfer that I do not post these situations. I am just trying to help out, I am not asking for nothing in return. (I promise) Well maybe a picture of the baby. Just let me know. I am always doing a search on the web for situations and children, so if I know what the group is looking for I can post it for everyone. Anything to help get our babies home to us faster. Just when it is my turn - someone help me. Have a great day.

Hi Alyssalynne I think you are a special angel for posting those situations and I do greatly appreciate the contacts. As for the cost the fees I have been quoted have been from 4,000-14,000 but I was told by an agency last week that the average adoption cost for a AA baby was 6,000. Thanks again for your kindness.

I would say post the situations of which you are aware and be sure to post the contact information for the specific situation. Each person has a different "threshold" as to what is within their ability and what is not.
