I would realy enjoy being in a chart room with all of you. You are all so nice and helpful. I was looking through the site to see what all was offered and I came across an area for char rooms. This was in one of the forums. I’m new to all of this so I don’t know if this is what we would need to set up a chat. Does anyone else have an suggestions or opinions? Is this what we need? If we are talking about the PM hours, after 8 is best for me.

Excuse my ignorance, but what is the difference between chat and what we are doing now?

We should be sure to specify time zone along with time. What is 8pm to one might be 5pm or 11pm to another. That makes a difference :-)

chatting is real-time... sort of like a type written version of a phone conversation as it's happening. As opposed to posting on the message boards (which is what we're doing here) which is more like reading a letter that is delivered by the postman.

I don't know if that made sense or not.

chatting is totally interactive and you're all in a "room" together where you can see what each other is publicly typing to everyone else who is in that room at that time.

i think this chat is difficult to go into. other chat locations may work better for many of us. Like yahoo has an adoption forum and we can all meet there. This one in here has lots of restrictions for connections.
