Hello, I'm glad everything is going well with Laila. I've noticed the AA forum has not been very active lately. I am still doing research on agencies and I just started a new job on April 7 so I've been mostly just reading post but not posting anything.

Hello All,

I have noticed that most of the forums are inactive. Congratulations on your placement. I'm happy to hear all is well.

My son (2 1/2) was placed little over 6 months ago. He has adjusted rather well. He is on a first name basis with all his little relatives, aunts/uncles and great-grandparents.

He has also officially potty trained. Out of the blue, he told his daycare teacher he no longer wanted to wear diapers and he would 'go to the potty' himself. I guess he did not want to be only kid in his daycare class who was still wearing diaper since most of his classmates were trained.

I find it amazing considering I did not have to put forth any effort. I'm too thrilled with this milestone with summer ahead of us.
