Possible match family placement Oct. 07
Fell through Nov. 07
Jan. 08 Got call ....not chosen by emom
03-07-08 Matched with emom due March 11th
Call 03-08-08, lead 4 families to believe they were going to parent her daughter
Call 03-10-08, she wasn't even pregnant
Confused and hurt. Waiting again.
03-17-08 Had to turn down baby girl, couldn't get flight before discharge
Our hearts are breaking and waiting again.
04-29-08 Got call....not chosen by emom due in June
06-17-08 Got call....not chosen by emom due July 6th
Profiled 07-18-08 for emom due in Nov. - emom decided to parent 08-25-08
Profiled 07-25-08 for emom due in Oct. - never heard back from emom
Profiled 08-12-08 for emom due in Sept. - never heard back from emom

Question Update
Baby is doing fine. Mom is not so fine. BF is not accepting the adoption plan and Mom didn't sign TPR today. She's still on board but her family doesn't think today is the day to sign. ITA she needs some space after her BF's tirade. Her family is suppporting the plan but also offering to help. This is her 2nd child with BF.

I'm continually impressed with her strength and composure during such a stressful time. My heart goes out to her. We'll have more news on TPR tomorrow. Please keep DH, baby Maia, and myself in your prayers.

I'm so sorry about the issues with the first father. Had he been told of mom's plan prior to the birth? I am hoping for all of you!

Thanks Teendoc. Yes, he knew of the plan and thought it was best. He doesn't support their older child. He's young, scared, and not sure what he wants. From what I hear from the agency, he's not ready/able to parent.

Mom decided to parent
Hi All,
The mom decided to parent the baby. We are very happy for her. DH and I are okay as we prepared ourselves for this possibility. The agency has other cases for us and we are hopeful. Thanks so much for all your support. Please keep us in your prayers.

Your baby is out there, the same happened to us, and we now have what we think is the right baby for us, and we hope she thinks the same. lol
Take some time with each other at least this week-end, and enjoy your present family. Then best wishes for the near future... :-)
