Question - Being presented

Hello. I'm new here. We are an AA couple hoping to adopt an AA infant. We have went through the homestudy process and have been waiting for about two months.

I have a question for anyone who has networked through multiple agencies. We have put in applications for several agencies and we've been presented 3 and 4 times within the last couple months but not chosen. Yesterday we were contacted by two different agencies about being presented and said okay to both. Both pbms are due within the next couple weeks. Was it okay to be presented to both? We haven't been chosen the other 3-4 times and we may not be this time, but what if both pbms are interested? Should we let the agencies know that we are being presented on another situation also?

Thanks,
MJ

We were in the same situation, and we informed both agencies that we were being presented by another agency. We were told, strangely by both agencies, that they would go ahead and present us, but to let them know if the other agency's birthmom chose us.

Thanks for the reply. Did you match with either of your situations?

Perfectly ok. We are currently in the same position and it's even possible that we are being presented to the same pbirth mothers. Good luck! :-)

Provided your willing to turn down one of the matches, should both expectant parents choose you, I don’t see a problem with being presented.

If you plan to match with both, that, in my opinion, is unethical and shouldn’t be allowed, unless both expectant mothers know and approve.
