On December 22, 2005 I received a call from our agency that (due to an error in the paperwork) placement of my son has been changed from Dec 29, 2005 to Jan 2, 2006. At first I was furious, but now I am ok. At least I know he will be home soon. "UNTO EVERYTHING THERE IS A SEASON"

This very same kind of thing happened to us. We were told that our daughter would be home before the end of the month (that being December)....and because of the unavailability of the agency to be able to find someone to do the transporting, she wasn't able to come until January.
But.....in the end, she DID come!

Though not what you wanted.........it will be a great way to start off the new year! (((HUGS)))

I know it must be a little disappointing, but it gives you a few more days to prepare and before you know it he will be home and you will have to change your screen name

Thanks ladies, I know it's only a set back but it is very disappointing. On a happier note, today is Wednesday, 4 days and counting.

I have no idea what my new screen name will be, but I can't wait to change it.

Have the parental rights been signed over yet? If not, is it possible that the "paperwork errors" is code for wanting to allow the birthparents to claim the child for the 2005 tax credits?

I'm not trying to rile anybody up. I just think it would be nice (if that is the case), they just say so.
