I haven't adopted thru them, but we've been working with them to try and get matched. They've been okay, so far. We had a near match, and then a referal to Bethany Christian Services. Still don't have a baby or a match yet, but it's only been about a month. The people at Special Link seem really nice. I don't know if this helps you any, but I hope it does.

We actually checked out references they gave us and felt comfortable with that, we sent in our paperwork a week and a half ago. They sent us back a list of agencies/attorneys they had worked with in the past and suggested we contact ones in our area to see if they had an immediate need for placement. One agency actually did call us, and said they had a few AA birthmother's due in the next few months. We are getting together our paperwork to submit to them.

ok, so here is some good news, I just got off the phone with " a loving choice" and talked to them for quite a while, they are ONLY, get this!!!! ONLYOnly $5,800 for ANY ADOPTION unless of course there is bmom expenses. They also have a plan to help people adopt aa/biracial infants that may not otherwise be able to it is set on a sliding scale, at 7% gross annual income, starting at $1,800, and not to exceed the $5,800 regular fee. It is very exciting!!!! We are definately going to check them out. HOpe it helps,,,I believe their phone number is on a prior post. Good luck.
