We are blessed to have the arrival of our baby girl, Gabrielle. She was expected to arrive on December 10th, but she decided to make a surprise visit on arrived this past Saturday, Nov. 22nd.

Things have happened so fast....

She was born the day before my husband's birthday! WOW!

We brought her home Monday evening. This has been the most life changing experience ever. We have an extremely open relationship with the birthmother and I have spoken with her twice since the placement. According to her, she is doing pretty good and everyday will get just a little easier. Please keep the birthmother in your prayers as this is an extremely difficult time in her life.

I just wanted to share the news! ...This forum has helped me tremendously.

That is so great that the baby is ok being born early. What a great Thanksgiving time you will have..My daughter was born on my Hubby's birthday..

Now we are matched and the baby is due 12/15/03. I wonder if the little guy will be here earlier??

You are absolutely right...we could not have asked for a better Thanksgiving and Christmas gift. Gabrielle has been keeping me extremely busy, and I am enjoying every minute of it! She is a true blessing and gift from God!

When is your expected "big" day? I know it is coming up soon. I would love to offer any pointers if I can...

With us, it has truly God's plan in motion. We have a very good relationship with the birthmother, which has made this process even more exciting. I took Gabrielle to the doctor last week for her 10 day appointment and was asked a few questions..for which I had no answer.

It was wonderful just knowing that I could call the birthmother and/or birth grandparents to obtain answers to any questions that I desired. I would not change this experience for anything in the world. As Gabrielle grows up...she will have the best of all worlds...she will have family and people who love her coming from all directions..what more can we ask for...love has no boundaries!!!
