I have a little guy who has been passed over by WAY
too many families for my liking. This little boy
needs to come home soon! The total expenses for his
adoption INCLUDING the INS, estimated homestudy fees,
all adoption-related expenses, and travel are $10,675.
A breakdown is posted below. These fees have been
reduced as far as possible to get this little guy
home!

I600A filing fee $405+$25 per adult fingerprinting
Homestudy: Estimated $1,500 (through your own agency)
Agency Fee: $3,000
Country Fee: $1,400
Adult Airfare: $1,200 per parent (varies)
Infant Airfare: 10% of adult ticket
Meals & Lodging: $500-$800 plus meals
In-country travel: $500 or less
VISA and medical: $400
Misc. in-country expenses $100 approx.
Total estimated cost (two adopting parents): $10,675

This little boy has been waiting so long because he
falls into a number of hard to place categories. He
is an African boy, four years of age, so age, gender,
and ethnic background are all "hard to place"
categories. In addition this child has been diagnosed
with arrested hydrocephalus. He is doing very well,
but does have a shunt for this condition. He also has
some developmental delays, but does not appear to have
mental retardation. The delays may be because of the
orphanage he was in earlier, as in his current
orphanage he is gaining new skills quickly. The
medical professional who reviewed his reports says
that he sounds great medically.

have a photo of this little one I'd be glad to provide
to interested families, he is an absolute doll, and he
so desperatly needs a home!
