Anyone else on here waiting for the moratorium to be lifted in Liberia? Some days I feel like it's never going to happen. Nobody seems to be on our side or speaking up for us, at least on the US side. I know there are people hard at work advocating for us in Liberia. All this waiting is really draining me though. We've been waiting for our son for almost 18 months. We love this little boy and just want to bring him home as our son. Has anyone heard anything lately?
For those of you not adopting from Liberia, please keep the 100+ families with referrals in your prayers. We've been put through the ringer. We all love these children with all our hearts. These kids have families waiting for them. Instead of living in a stable home, they are continuing to live in orphanages, some of the lucky ones are in fostercare. They need to come home. Thanks for letting me vent.
