Independent African Adoption
Im looking for any information on independently adopting from Africa. I know there are some countries that allow this. My husband and I adopted a baby from ethiopia using an agency last year, but are now considering doing it independantly.

I have adopted a child from Malawi and in the process of 2 from Zamiba. I have not used any agencies.
The Orphanage here in Zambia has been very helpful. but you have to foster for 3 months which means you would need to be in Zambia for abotu 4 months. As for Malawi, international adopted is not allowed.
