We have a referral...
Our daughter was born on Jan 1, 2004. She is currently in Monrovia with a foster family. We can't wait to hold her in our arms!
We expect it to take between 4 and 6 months from this point. |

I am very excited for you...We are in the early stages of adoption. How long did the process take up to this point? We are waiting for the homestudy to start. SO did you get a picture of your baby?

Congratulations
Hi congratulatons on your soon to be new arrival!
Can I ask what agency you went through? I'm in a strange situation that I live abroad and need to find a facilitator to work with in liberia (or an agency based in the states.....) If you can help I'd be most grateful. Very excited for you!! Matt |

Hi Golda,
Just wanted to say congratulations on your referral. It is so exciting! I imagine the waiting now is the hardest part! We are back in Austin and went to the Fine Arts Festival over the weekend. There were many transracial families and some multicultural families like ours too.
