A new forum for Adult Adoptees

Every day that passes brings us one day closer to the time when ‘open adoption’ started to become the desired method of adoption here in the US. This year, adoptees born in 1988 will be 18 years old…these adoptees will be faced with issues that are unique to them and their situations.

I’ve created this forum for members who have had some level of openness in their adoption, so that they can find support and guidance from others like them…

Please remember, this isn’t a ‘loss contest’ between adoptees raised in open vs. closed adoption – we all need a place of support, and with open adoption adoptees coming of age, they will need a place too!
