your experience growing up knowing you bmom
this board has helped me in so many ways. I read alot about
reunions with bfamilies and there experience. DH and I have a 4 yr old son. We brought B home from the hospital, we have a open adoption. Our son bfamily loves him very much and I could never take that away from him. I send a lot of pictures and phone calls, bmom comes over about 3 times a year. I was curious about any ones stories about growing up and you bfamily in your life. How did it help you. KSAB |

Wish some had replied to this thread...bringing it up again...doesn't it boil down to kids wondering WHY can't or doesn't my b-parent just raise me???? why is someone else doing that job??? self esteem stuff???
we adopted our daughter at age five...when we helped her find her b-relatives years later she opted to be with the ones who didn't raise her...and not with the ones who did...it is complicated...no matter what... |
