Domestic adoption agencies
I'm new to this but could use some advice. My husband and I have just started researching adoption agencies. There are so many, I'm not sure where to begin. We live in Illinois (not sure if that matters) but I could really use some advice and any great adoption agencies out there! Please PM with any useful info...which agencies were good, which were bad, fees, etc. Thanks...it's greatly appreciated!

Don't know what part of IL you live in but Charleston has a wonderful adoption attorney. She is not an agency so the fees are about a third of what an agency charges. But, she does put profiles in her office and has birth moms refered to her all the time. I am assuming she is still in practice.

Thank you so much!!! I am just beginning the application stages and found a place to do the homestudy but have made no agency decisions as of yet. I really appreciate the information!!
