Please Read Me First!
First of all, you are NOT ALONE. Your feelings are valid and we are here simply for support and feedback. This is a "no-judgement" zone.
This forum is designed to not only help those on the journey now, but all others who come after us. Because the professionals still can't say for sure WHY some people experience PADS , we are attempting to find common parts in our experiences and lives. What potentially would make someone higher risk to get PADS (post adoptive depression syndrome)? What is most helpful in beating it ...etc... Polls have been created as a way to illustrate these things we may or may not have in common. Please take a moment to click on the links below and notice the similarities in your own experiences and leave your feedback for others to see as well. The polls are anonymous, so be honest. It only works if everyone participates, so I thank you for your input, and hope you find something that helps you on your own unique journey. Expectations Does this sound like YOU? Self Esteem Medications? or not? My child was..... Parenting in reality....
