Unhappy Frustrated

Hi

My husband and I have been trying to gety pregnant for three years, finaly we found out it wont happen for us. So about a year ago I started to look into adoption since you hearso many people saying all these kids need homes. Well its just not working I am beginning to feel as though I should just give up my longing to become a mommy. Adoption is just flat out too expensive, if we could come up with this kind of money what kind of a life could i give a chil? Am I the only one that seems to get no where with this? We are looking for an infant to child age 7 at max because we are still young and want to experience as much of the parenting adventure as possible.

Were are you looking

If you are willing to take a child up to seven are you going through your state? If you go through the state the cost is nothing to very minimal. We have two adopted children and went through private agencies. We wanted newborns only. We have gone through agencies that charge flat fees. There are no additonal expenses so you know what you are paying upfront. Have you looked into your employer's giving a reimbursement? Are you aware of the tax credit?

Adoption Cost

Villa Hope (Birmingham, Alabama) has programs that are based on your income. These include children under the age of 7, usually around 3 or 4.

Also, LSD bases some adoptions on your income...usually 10%.

Best Wishes

What does LSD stand for? Is Villa Hope on the net? Do you know if they allow adoptions across state lines? We are in KS.
Thanks.....................Michelle

VILLA HOPE

Yes Villa Hope in on the net. It is in Alabama and can work with you across state lines. They focus on international adoptions.

LDS is Latter Day Saints who allow childless couples to pay only 10% of their income for adoption.....however, I found out you do HAVE to be a LDS to apply for this service.

Best Wishes,
CC
