Starting from scratch
Hello all,
My family and I are looking into domestic adoption. I have 2 biological children ages 8 and 6. We do not have infertility issues. We live in Northern California. We would like to work with a Christian agency, however, would be perfectly happy with a reputable, honest agency that has the children's best interest in mind. Does anyone out there have an agency that they have found to meet these criterium? If so, please PM me. Has anyone out there succeded in an adoption like ours? If you are interested in adopting from the foster system visit the Dave Thomas Foundation website and you can find links to agencies in your area that specialize in the foster adopt program.
Or you can call your local children's services division and they can steer you in the right direction. We have adopted two older children (6 and 10, separate adoptions) from the foster system. I thank God daily that we have chosen this journey, as tough as some days may be.
