So, Kelcee finally learned the word why Everything today was followed by why mommy How I was dreading this day.

This may not be all that encouraging but my four year old niece is still asking why. In fact we "why'd" back and forth last night for about 25 minutes. She thinks it's a fun game but eventually she gets tired of it and lets the whole thing drop.

LOL, one of our boys "why'd" the other "what's that" and I didn't think it would ever end! I don't remember how long it was in reality. Castle has not started either yet at this point. Good luck!

My 6 yr old still asks why with everything, and of course, the 3 yr old does too.

My favorite card we got from a friend when H was born had about 30 questions (all beginning w/ WHY) on the front. When you opened up the card, the inside read: Congratulations! Your life is about to be filled with more questions than a Congressional hearing.

For some reason, DD was more into the "whats that thing?" CONSTANTLY.

She has started on why, but it's usually followed by a "why you do that?" as opposed to the "existential" whys!
