Fun Tuesday Topic
What is your favorite holiday food?
Mine would have to be all the different types of cookies that come around. My dad usually makes all the cookies, chocolate chip, snickerdoodles, butter amish cookies. My mom's favorite holiday food is having eggnog.

Okay...I just gained 5 lbs reading your post and no doubt I'll gain 20 more as the thread goes on...
LOVE Snickerdoodles and those that bake really need to send me some. We always had a big dinner on Christmas Eve with just my mom, dad, me & brother. Mom made a big prime rib roast and that will always be "Christmas" food to me. Those caramel sticky buns with all the cinnamon and sugar and Mom's famous pumpkin cheesecake roll are also faves.

oh~ the ham with pinapples and cherries on it. As kids my grandfather would have to start putting as many pineapples and cherries as there was grandkids because we would fight over them.
 I carried it on with my children. I might get the first cherry but I don't get the last.

oh, so many good foods
The cookies are my favorite. Mom bakes so many different kinds and I lvoe them all. I can say no to cake and pie (unless it is pumpkin) but I cannot stay away from cookies. My aunt makes peanut brittle to die for, and my sister in law makes a wonderful Rocky Road with dark chocolate, marshmallows and nuts.

Pumpkin pie - hands down favorite in my book! Can't get enough of it during the holiday season.
My hubby and kids, on the other hand, are chugging down egg nog (aka "gag nog") by the truckload!

This is tough....I so love most food...maybe thats why I continue to gain weight....HMMMM!!
Ham with cherries, turkey with awesome stuffing and of course you have to have the pumpkin pie! Comfort food for the holidays!

Where to start? I love just about all the food we have for Christmas! My mom's dressing and my aunts ham tops my list, along with mom's sweet potatoes.
I am also really looking forward to the different candies, cakes, pies and cookies. My MIL makes awsome Boiled Custard that we have with her cocunut cake. YUMMY!
