I think my favorite holiday carol would have to be Silent Night.
I am actually looking forward to Christmas this year. |

I can't sing to save my life, but every Christmas I'm the loudest one there.
I LOVE the traditional Christmas music.Think my top 3 "spiritual" ones would have to be - O Holy Night, Do you Hear what I Hear, and the Hallelujah Chorus. On the more fun side - Winter Wonderland & Silver Bells are faves of mine. I know you asked for one...just can't do it! LOL!

I already posted on the Catholic forum, but has anyone ever heard the old album "How Lovely is Christmas" by Bing Crosby? He narrates a story about a young boy named Jethro who dreams of Paul Bunyan, Johnny Appleseed and Daniel Boone while alone on Christmas Eve. It is the greatest album that my family has passed along since the 50's. About 2 years ago, my wonderful friend found a copy on CD for me - it is probably the best Christmas present I ever received. I bought about 10 copies and handed them out to all my family!

My favorite Christmas carols are The First Noel, Away in the Manager, Silent Night, Hark the Herald Angels sing and O Come all ye Faithful. BTW, this thread made me find the radio station that plays all Christmas music.

My all time favorite would have to be Silent Night but for the fun side I love Up On The House Top and Jingle Bells.

I also love Mary Did You Know... I haven't heard the Rogers/Judd version. In fact, i am not sure who sings the version I hear. It plays on the Christian station I listen to.
That is probably my favorite "this year". to pick an all time favorite would be impossible.
