Hi!
It seems things are a little slow in this forum - maybe just not a chatty as the ladies are - so I think I'll contribute a little. I'm in the process of getting started with adoption but figured I'd post this for other fathers-to-be out there. It really helps me keep going to get through it, especially seeing that point in the future when I'll be called "dad" as well. NPR : Becoming a Parent Is a Gift Tony

Great article, Tony. Thanks for sharing. I know it's sometimes easy to think that it will never happen but the thing I tell all prospective adoptive parents is to keep the faith. I will happen. It might take a while but it will happen.

8/27/06- met w/ adoption counselor 10/15/06- conference with em 10/15/06- matched! 10/21/06- ultrasound says.. IT'S A BOY!!!!!  10/21....- truly enjoyed getting to know our PBM & her family 1/4/07- The little man of my dreams is born- ..
