Adoption Triad Support group meets monthly Chicagoland, Wheaton IL.
Hi- I am facilitator of Adoptees, Birth Parents and Adoptive Parents Together Support group that has been meeting for 8 years each month at Faith Evangelical Covenant Church in Wheaton IL. We meet every 3rd Thursday of the month from 7:00-9:00pm weather permitting- call if weather is an issue. The group focus is adult adoptees, birth and adoptive parents sharing adoption experiences, exploring searching for birth family members separated by adoption and navigating adoption reunions. I am a reunited adoptee and began the group. Most meetings find 10-15 attendees from all sides of adoption. Sharing is voluntary and there are no fees- only a free will offering to cover expenses and the adoption library. For directions to the church go to www.faithecc.org and click on "Directions" in the Index. Our next meeting is tomorrow, Thursday March 16th at 7:00pm weather permitting. Go to www.adoptionblessingsnewsletter.com to e-mail me with any questions. Thank you!
