Will the girls receive a subsidy
My wife and I are meeting our case worker next week and I have a question about the adoption subsidy. The two little ones they are presenting to us are 2 and 3year old sisters cauccasun\cape verdian form what we were told thay are healthy with no notable problems. We live in MA. Do siblings qualify for a subsidy or the fact they are in a minority group, is cape verdian really concidered a minority?
Thanks for help. |

No idea about the minority issue. The best thing to do is ask. I know it feels strange to ask ?s about $$ but this is the CW's everyday job. It is not strange for them at all to talk about subsidies. Some states do subsidy just because it is a sibling group. Our kids have no special needs but still qualify for subsidy because they were placed together and are bio siblings. They also qualify based upon mental health diagnosis in the bio family. Just ask. It's the only way to know.
