The children's caseworker said they're not eligible for Title IV?! We were told it is based on the parent's income at the time of the relinquishment? Biomom called the police and said, "This child is out of control. Put her/him in foster care." She did it to our son who was 10 at the time and soon after to his 9 year old sister. Shortly after that she contacted HHS and voluntarily terminated her parental rights - shocked the heck out of the caseworkers.

We finalized on our daughter last Thursday. We have told NE and our TX agency that we don't know what will happen with our son. He still does not want to be adopted. He did not react well to his sister being adopted and not him. He's told us several times he wants to go back to foster care in NE. At the momeny he's just surly and has a teen attitude - no violence so we're just planning on continuing with status quo.
