Special needs rates for Los Angeles County
Hi,
I am trying to find out the different rate amounts as they appear with Los Angeles County Dept of Adoptions. We are needing to request an increase in our regular AAP due to our son's increased symptoms from the Mitochondria Disease he has. I was told to go for the Medical rate, but was given a guess to what that amount was. How do I find out WHAT rate to ask for. Is there some type of descriptive document that describes each rate, such as F1, F2, etc? If not, do you just pick a figure to ask for and hope it matches up with one of the categories? If a child has both an emotional issue as well as a medical, which diagnosis will give us the best benefit? Thanks in advance for any help you can lend. Bev
