thank you for the poem, i gave up a daughter in 1971, when she was 8 mos. old. There isn't a year that goes by, that I don't think of here and pray to God that I made the right decision and that she is alright. I know that I can never replace her family that raised her, but, i wish so much to be able to tell her WHY. and that she can see a face that may look like her. I hope that you had a good life and do know that your mother loved you more than anything, to be able to make the hardest decision she ever had to make in her life. He is now living in the same town as I do, only the sad thing is that we aren't as close as I had hoped we would become. If you have not found your Birth mother I wish you all the luck in the world. My brother isn't very close and loving to our mother and she lives about 100 ft. from him now. I guess he doesn't hold enough love in his heart for two families. I pray that your reunion will be much happier than ours has turned out to be.
