The Price
Following the death of my mother in January and my best friends loss of his mother last weekend i tried to find some words to help him look forward. We all know when grief is so fresh it can be difficult to see how you will ever cope with it.
Maybe it will help someone else through that most difficult of times. The Price The price you pay to love Is always paid when they depart And all you’re left with in this world Is the pain inside your heart. That pain it will not lessen With the passing of the days But God will help you deal with it In so many different ways Death for you will hold no fear For then again things will be right You and your loved one dear Reunited in that heavenly light DJB 2009
