A Summer Day
You came into my life
One beautiful summer day The joy of finally seeing you Overcame my fear of letting you go As you lay your weary head Upon my arm I feel your soft, sweet breath Drifting slowly to sleep A person whole and true Perfect in every way Someone I'll never know And I reach down deep inside my soul For the answer to my heartbreaking question And I know now Seeing you there I was only meant to know you A few short hours
