Happy Mother's Day
Happy Mother's Day She wakes with a sigh Another day has dawned A mail box sits empty at the end of the lawn. A box sits gathering dust Memories of a time to hard to resist. She opens the box and looks at the bracelet. She closes her eyes just as a tear escapes. She puts back the box And goes about her day. Sending hope, love and good thoughts to everyone in her way. At the end of the day With a cup of tea and a book Something to help her unwind and relax. The phone rings She answers A friend on the other end just says... Happy Mother's Day my dear friend.
