A Father’s Love
Sometimes they are forgotten But their role was just as vital Instrumental in these lives Of being used as God’s vessel. Quietly they wait Not sure of the outcome But they take a deep breath Praying for just the right home. Their love is just as strong But they tend to be left out Out of the adoption equation Careful not to open their mouth. Sometimes their voice is silent Sometimes they scream out loud For they too desire the right parents Until they are called beyond the clouds. Giving these children a chance For their love is very strong. We should not forget them For doing what is right and not wrong. Birthfathers are a gift from God For He sent us one indeed He gave us a Divine appointment And poured out everlasting Peace. We shall forever be grateful For the gifts you have given us And we hope to one day introduce you To the ones you so dearly love. Written by Becca Hill |

Thank you, Becca, for remembering birth fathers. I was "forgotten" for thirty years, but I found my son and we have been in happy reunion now for over five years. rich
