Dandelion Seed
How shall I love my adopted child?
Like the dandelion seed. Cupped gently in my palms... Not so tight that I inhibit it's spirit, But not so loose that every breath of breeeze, Sends it this-a-way and that-a-way. But then, when it is time to let it go, I shall purse my lips, And puff gently away with the softest kiss, So it can flower in a garden of it's own. ©Bodacious Jones bojo@twcny.rr.com Comments appreciated!

Absolutely beautiful poem!! However it could be for an adopted child....a foster child....a biological child....as well.
