She is 4 years younger than me and everyone in the family knew but me. I was very hurt and I knew that I had to find her. (this was when I was 26) My stepmother (the birthmom was no help) She would not answer my questions and I looked for five years before she started to give some info, once she told us. I found my sister in 2 two weeks. We have been getting to know each other for two+ years now and as hard as it was to wait and wonder about her, it was worth the wait! Maybe you could start your search with the registry in the state where the adoption took place.
