I cannot judge anyone for wanting a child because I wanted all of my children (my birth children and my adopted one). Adoption in and of itself is beautiful when agreed upon by all people involved. I have a problem with the money involved with adoption and the differing values placed on children...but I have stated that already and do not want to go on needlessly about that. These boards should be about support and respect as well as increasing wisdom and understanding on all sides of the adoption triad. Sorry if this sounds like a sermon, but as a Christian I am saddened by people judging others and pointing fingers. I have never had to make a decision to place a child for adoption or had to wait for years to start a family...and I hope that I do not offend those who have had to face these life changing circumstances.
