My son's Bmom was not a "didn't want to parent"

Because of her personal circumstances, she couldn't offer that to her baby. She is in her 30's, so this isn't a case of her being young and impressionable and not knowing her options.

My son's Bmom is an amazing woman. She has endured a lot of hardship in her life, and her life experiences have shown her that a stable, 2-parent household is the best way for a child to grow up. I know that many people feel that a single-parent household is just as good, but I, AND my son's Bmom, both believe that Daddies enrich a child's life in a way that no mommy can on her own. Although there were additional reasons that contributed to her decision, providing her son with a Daddy was her #1 priority.

I respect her decision greatly, and I understand (to the extent anyone who hasn't been a Bmom is capable) the enormous sacrifice that she made to give my son a 2-parent home. I have no question that she would have chosen to parent him if she could have provided him a Daddy.
