Though my agency had fully open also ,I chose semi-open & after 13 months all is well & positive.I chose not to have a visit until he was 7 months old & legaly adopted because I wanted the afamily to have time to bond.I wanted them to become a family.6 months after that I had a second visit.It is on neutral ground also.Things are going very smooth for our triad.I keep my grief elsewhere & have had counceling.Proffessional Counceling is a must for bmothers.I don't think that it is the Afamilies responsibility to councel & help with the grief .My bsons family has never seen my grief only my love & thankfulness.
