Services provided in client’s home or my office. HIGHLIGHTS OF QUALIFICATIONS · Licensed Professional Counselor since May 2004 · Over 5 years as an LPC: individuals, couples, groups & families. Experience: ADHD, Depression, Anxiety, ODD, Conduct D/O, Eating D/O, PTSD, Addictions, Anger, Marital conflicts, Parenting, more… · Over 10 years conducting educational groups on Substance Abuse, Anger Management and Stress Management, & Domestic Violence. · M.Ed. degree in Counseling; 48 hours perfect 4.0 grade-point average. · B.A. degree in Psychology, cum laude. · 41 additional graduate hours toward Master of Divinity Program. · Completed over 30 foster home studies for child placement agencies. · Completed over 30 foster/adopt home studies for TDPRS/CPS. · Completed 40 H.S.E.G.H. studies for TDPRS/CPS · Over 14 years experience in social services. · Over 20 years experience in bi-vocational pastoral ministry. · Over 9 years experience as a licensed therapeutic foster parent. RELEVANT EXPERIENCE · Full-time Counselor: Jewish Family & Children Services in San Antonio from August 2004 through May 2005. I continued providing counseling services at JFCS on a contract basis through December 2007. · Contract Counselor and Private Practice: Alpha & Omega In-Home Family Counseling providing counseling and conducting substance abuse educational groups for teens, 2003 to present. Private practice as LPC 05-09. Child/Adolescent Caseworker: Over 2 years experience providing clinical services to individuals with mental illness; crisis resolution; intake and social histories/assessments; computerized treatment plans; ongoing interventions; MHMR documentation, parenting courses, and individual counseling. · Treatment Team Coordinator II/Program Specialist I: Scheduled and conducted case conference staffing and reviews; served as a leader for TTC quality improvement team; provided training and supervision of TTC I at Kerrville State Hospital in Kerrville, TX. · Instructor/Group Leader: Facilitated prevention of domestic violence groups (Nov. 1998 through December 2004). Also conducted psycho educational groups on anger management and substance abuse for the Image Counseling Center. |
