I'll be graduating in May & I'm beginning to think about my future career.
As an adoptee, I feel somewhat qualified to pursue a job within the area of adoption, haha - - that being said, I have no specific idea what I'd want to do, but I know that I would eventually like to work for some kind of organization that is pushing for a change in adoption laws [with regards to sealed records]. I also like helping other people here on the forums - for example, people who have search & reunion-related questions that I can help them with and that sort of thing. It feels like helping others with their own adoption-related issues also helps me, too. I may as well post my resume - I'll have a BA in English when all is said and done, but I was also a] a Psych major and b] an Education major. So I'm fairly well-rounded in that respect. Lots of psych classes and child development-type courses under my belt.
