Chicago Social Worker would love to work in adoption field
I am a social worker living in Chicago right now. Since I'm originally from Hong Kong, I have better understanding when it comes to working with diverse population. My interest in adoption started when I first got to know my best friend who happens to be adopted. Her parents adopted 7 other children after her. I have heard and come across with many life changing stories. One of my friends just placed her son for adoption. Thus, I have learned that adoption agency has helped her out in different ways. I think my social work skills will be able to contribute to those who are in need of help at this time of their lives.
