Medical ? and question about DH past "mistakes"

Second, he has two past drinking offenses on his record. He does not drink anymore and is a wonderful person who just happened to make a couple of bad mistakes. How could this affect our chances of adoption?

Thank you.

Also, you will need to get a statement from the Sheriffs office or your local police about a criminal back ground. For all that I have read recently (which is oodles, LOL) openeness and honesty with the social worker will make things go smoother. I hope there is a social worker out there in Message Board Black Hole that perhaps could shed some light on the situation. Good luck to you both. I will say a prayer.
