DHS Homestudy

As for it taking a long time to receive a child I feel that if you feel you are able to parent most any child they will place one fairly fast. The more particular you are the more time it will take to for you to receive the child you want, if ever. These are just my thoughts based on my experience with DHS. And I am very pleased with the service I have received from Mississippi DHS Adoption Unit,

It was also a much more thorough h.s. which meant my husband and I got to/had to deal with some questions/issues which hadn't previously been addressed. We *certainly* benefitted from doing the agency's h.s.
